Hey everybody, thanks to everyone for commenting, i love hearing about home. Right now I am at a break between classes, which is pretty rare seeing as the classes have been just about nonstop for a couple days. I have successfully learned how to walk around Quito with out getting lost, with my sense of direction that is pretty amazing. We havent done tooo much since we were here, tonight we are learning how to salsa dance! and i think we are going to a couple museums between now and when we leave on monday. Last night me and the people on my cook crew made pasta and that was the highlight of the day haha. The night before we all went out to dinner and we found a really neat thai food place . We have been doing extra morning workouts lately which satrt at 5>55 , needless to say im exhausted! Monday we leave for our group stays in a community in the andes where we are doing community service . I have no idea what we are doing but I am excited to get moving again. All of our classes are somehow centered on the Amazon right now so they all intertwine, we have to write a story about lessons we learned in the Amazon, its kind of cool. We come back to Quito after our group stays so I wont be able to write until then.
Adios

Hi Lis, It was great to hear from you by phone the other day and now all the catch-up news.
We miss you of course, but know you are having an unforgettable experience.
Soak it all in, take lots of pictures and keep the news comin when you can. Love, Gmom
Hey Melissa!!!!
Remember that time in Montreal where you said " Aunt Val, you don't like me very much, do you?".
I wanted you to know that not only do I love you as my niece but I like you as a person. I am amazed that you have taken this trip and I am proud of your independence, your desire to learn and your willingness to take risks.
Figured i should let you know. Hope you are making memories.
Aunt Val
I'm glad you finally got your package! A little late for Valentine's day but never too late for heart shaped lollipops ;-). I love you and miss you-- talk to you when you get back to Quito!
